At What Price Can Zero Emissions Be Achieved in Electric Passenger Vehicles
Original language description
This article deals with the proposed EURO 7/VII values, including the development of EURO values in recent years. On the basis of the given data, a trend towards the transition to electric cars is evident. Therefore, the article focuses on the description of important parameters that interest users. First of all, the article deals with the maximum range of electric cars from major manufacturers. This range changes during operation, which is why a simulation of the range of the electric car based on the ambient temperature and battery capacity is given here. Furthermore, the article deals with recharging and energy consumption during the operation of electric cars. The article tackles the issue of the dependence of the size of the charging source which can be expressed by the charging performance related to the percentage of battery charge which directly relates to the charging time of the battery. The article includes the comparison of the heat value of a conventional gasoline combustion engine and an electrically powered passenger vehicle, including the expression of energy consumption per 100 km, the amount of energy used in 1 kg of the so-called "energy bank"and the amount of energy added to the vehicle in 1 second.
