The paper specifies important quality characteristics and quantitative parameters that affect the life cycle costs of a vehicle. The individual quality characteristics are described in detail, including the relationships for calculating the quantitative parameters of a vehicle. Quantitative parameters are described in detail here, including reliability and its parameters. Another important parameter is the economic indicators, which are related to the life cycle costs of vehicles. We include two basic items in life cycle costs, namely acquisition costs and ownership costs, which are further divided into other cost items.
