    The article deals with the comparison of selected costs of the life cycle of passenger vehicles with conventional and alternative propulsion. The aim of the article is to present the LCC model for the calculation and comparison of selected costs of management, operation, and preventive maintenance of conventional passenger vehicles and vehicles with alternative propulsion. The costs are modelled up to 240,000 km and 10 years of operation, which is the expected life of batteries in electric vehicles. In addition to costs, a comparison of produced CO2 emissions, vehicle weights and engine weight performance indicators is also made.
