Backup Power Sources in the Critical Infrastructure of a State
Original language description
The battery industry has made significant progress in the last decade, particularly in the field of lithiumion battery technology. Lithium-ion batteries today already offer technical advantages over traditional lead-Acid batteries in almost all critical areas. HE3DA technology combines the advantages of both lead acid and lithium-ion batteries. This brings many advantages not only for critical infrastructure, where lead-Acid batteries are primarily used today, such as an increase in stored energy density or a significant reduction in battery weight, a longer lifetime, minimal self-discharge and a long shelf life. Last but not least, there is one more safety aspect-the battery is manufactured and developed in the Czech Republic.
