Original language description
This paper presents an algorithm for elevation grid reconstruction from contours. The algorithm takes advantage of the properties of contour lines and creates more plausible terrains with tighter fit to the input data than the mainstream algorithms currently at use. It is also faster than most of the currently used algorithms.
