    Analysis of Measurement Errors for Jones Matrix Elements of Optical Fibers

  • Original language description

    Polarization stage of single mode optical fiber for some different psyhical conditions (rotation, torsion) was measured in accordance with designed methods. Elements of Jones matrix may be determined by using of computing program JONES from 11 optical intensities that are measured for defined arrangement of measuring system. Scattering of measuret optical intensity values causes the incorrect dermination of Jones matrix elements. one may recognite the effect of error decomposing of Jones matrix on the field of quaternions.
