This entry describes changes brought by the view on the web services of a new generation expressed by the umbrella title Web 2.0. It focuses on the division of thoughts, technologies and the concrete ways of realization of some web services. Web 2.0 is avision that includes possibilities of a work with current technological means in the Internet environment. By virtue of users', services' and contents' connection an added value of existing system comes to existence. A synergistic effect, which arises by connection of present units, is much more applied in lately implemented services. Following article is centered on the possibilities of a realization of new web services, it describes various model examples of Web 2.0, and deals with the application ofnew opportunities on the contemporary Internet.
