The book Mastering Knowledge is a monothematic work of experts specializing in knowledge support of strategic management from various points of view and perspectives. The first part of the publication deals with interrelated areas: the transfer of knowledge in corporate cultures and organizational structures, and the processes and methods of staff training as a part of both formal and informal learning.The second part of the book features authors? contributions dealing with system analysis as well as system and information engineering. In this context knowledge is formalized by means of knowledge maps and models, interoperability techniques, terms of mathematical modelling and applied disciplines of information engineering (for example GIS). The concluding part is dedicated to the role of formalized knowledge in education and staff training.
