The paper deals with one of current main trends in education ? blended learning. Blended learning combines traditional approach to education (especially face-to-face education) with further possibilities determined by new technologies development. This offers a wide range of applications and is of course connected with some advantages and disadvantages. The paper has three significant parts: it focuses on theoretical definition and description of blended learning, it provides an example of blended learning application in an international company which uses blended learning for English learning and, based on the real-life example, it also proposes a way how to use blended learning in other organizations like the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague(CULS Prague).
