This article deals with game based learning in managerial education.Literature review is focused on defining games, simulations and thein utilization in educational environment; also some latest research papers are mentioned. Using games in education isconsidered as a fruitful framework for education purposes which overcome traditional teaching barriers and more motivate students. Specifically, this article concerns on application of Edward deBono method called Six Thinking Hats. This paper is a reflection of using this method in the course of basics of management where students were concerned on decision making process. This paper critically evaluates Six Thinking Hats method and explores students? degree of difficulty of the roles. The red hat role(emotional) was seen as the most demanding by the students.
