Original language description
Internet technologies make information dissemination faster. Electronic media offer new means of communication, like social network sites. Unlike other communication ways, impact of information dissemination using such sites can be directly measured. Depending on the particular social network site, the measurements are either taken automatically or can be done using special tools and methods. Main goal of this paper is to describe the ways of efficiency measuring in social networks and to find out if user's interaction with the information source does have an impact on efficiency of information dissemination. Analysis primarily targets Facebook, but the paper also offers overview of two other measurable social networking sites - Twitter and Foursquare.
