    Efficiency of Rural Development Subsidies Usage

    The aim is to assess the efficiency of EU´s subsidies usage in Liberecký region. An non-parametric method (data envelopment analysis) was used. We considered the subsidies aimed at rural development from Rural Development Programme and from Structural funds, where the beneficiaries were municipalities, as the inputs to the model. The outputs were measured by the benefits of the subsidized projects. BCC model predicted more efficient projects than CCR. It can be conluded that cheaper projects tend to bemore efficient. Projets´efficiency depends also on its type, but not clearly on its location.
