Age Management Aspects in the Czech Republic
Original language description
The article deals with the current situation of age management and general issues arising from the age structure of employees that are already encountered or will be encountered by the majority of managers. The main objective of the article is to evaluate the implementation of age management in organisations in the Czech Republic and to examine relationships between the implementation of age management and the selected qualitative variables. The data (n = 549) was collected by means of a questionnaire technique. The research results show that the majority of organisations in the Czech Republic do not currently employ age management at the organisational level. The most important factors affecting the implementation of age management include the number of employees in the age group 50 and over, the economic sector and the size of the organisation.
