Original language description
This article focuses on analysis and quantification of decision support systems, DSS, effects on investment decision-making. A questionnaire survey research method was used to collect data. Target population of the research were experienced managers, mostly with 10 to 20 years of experience, from tactical or strategic management level, large enterprises and from various industries and functional departments. For purposes of the study, the sample was divided into two groups, where only the first group had access to the DSS information output to support their investment decision. Major findings of this research include that the usage of the DSS during the decision-making process leads to a different selection of the investment portfolio, increases a level of certainty of a decision-maker and decision-makers rely on the information provided in DSS output.
