The COVID pandemic has changed the face of international and domestic tourism, bringing to a starker attention the importance of tourists health, safety, and wellbeing than ever before. After the dust from the pandemic finally settles, the tourism and hospitality industry have to adhere to updated health and safety protocols aimed at helping to rebuild trust and confidence among travelers as well as at uniting tourism experts and healthcare professionals around global guidelines on health and security in the New Normal. Moreover, the industry needs to find novel approaches to protecting tourists during their travels and helping the world to adjust to the new reality.
