The species of the family Hybotidae / Diptera: Empidoidea/ of the six neat-bogs in the Šumava Mts. /Czech Republic/
Original language description
Attogether 1,545 specimens of the family Hybotidae representing 67 species were found by means of three collecting methods in six peat-bogs in the Šumava Mts. (Hraniční = Luzenská slaf, Jezerní slaf, Chalupská slat, Malá Niva, Pěkná, Kyselovský les) si tuated at different altitudes (from 725 to 1,170 m a.s.l.). The species composition is analysed with regards to dominance, constancy, affinity to peat-bogs, seasonal occurrence and type of distribution of each species. Hybo6d communities in all localitiesare compated by means of the number of species, species richness, species diversity and species equitability indexes, and coefficients of similarity. Three collecting methods are compared: yellow pan water traps (522 specimens / 42 species), sweeping (601 / 30) and Malaise traps (422 / 44). Three species, Bicellaria austriaca, Platypalpus ciliaris and Bicellaria vana were eudominant, fiuther two species were dominant (Euthyneura myrtilli and Tachypeza nubila). Only four species were fou
