Bolitophilidae, In: Barták, M., Vaňhara, J., (eds.) Diptera in an Industially Affected Region (North Bohemia, Bílina and Duchcov Environs) I
Original language description
Four species have been found in the study area, which represents 26.7 % of the total known fauna of the Czech Republic (30.8 % of the fauna of Bohemia). Half of the species found are Palaearctic and half European in distribution. The finding of B. pseudohybrida is the first record of this species from Bohemia. Noteworthy is the record of B. glabrata, which is the second finding of this very rare species in Bohemia. A locality most suitable for bolitophilids appears to be Štěpánov, where all but one species was found.
