ALTOGETHER 38 SPECIES OF TIPULIDAE HAVE BEEN FOUND IN THE STUDY AREA, WHICH REPRESENTS 30.9 % OF THE KNOWN FAUNA OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC (39.6 % OF THE FAUNA OF BOHEMIA). MOST SPECIES ARE PALAEARCTIC IN DISTRIBUTION (15 SPP., 39.5 %), FOLLOWED WEST PALAEARCTIC (10 SPP., 26.3 %). A MUCH SMALLER PROPORTION IS EUROPEAN IN DISTRIBUTION (4 SPP., 10.5 %), BOTH EUROSIBERIAN AND TEMPERATE AND SOUTH EUROPEAN (3 SPP., 7.9 %), HOLARCTIC (2 SPP., 5.3 %), AND A SINGLE SPECIES OF TEMPERATE EUROPEAN (2.6 %). THE FINDINGOF PRIONOCERA SUBSERRICORNIS IS THE FIRST FROM THE TERRITORY OF BOHEMIA. A NOTEWORTHY RECORD IS THAT OF TIPULA (LUNATIPULA) CAVA, BECAUSE IT REPRESENTS THE SECOND FINDING IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC. THE MOST COMMON SPECIES IN THE STUDY AREA WERE N. APPENDICULATA (FOUND IN 13 LOCALITIES) AND T. FASCIPENNIS (10 LOCALITIES). LOCALITIES
