  • Original language description

Altogether 53 species of the family Phoridae (except Megaselia) have been discovered in the area under study, representing about 48.2 % of the Czech fauna (110 spp. except Megaselia). However, species of the genus Megaselia (represented in the study areaby approx. 40 species) have not been identified, in spite of the fact that they were very common in the material collected. The relatively rich species spectrum for such a small area was obtained through a broad spectrum of trapping methods. Most of thespecies found in the study area are common under similar conditions. However, we found rare species which we suppose to be stenotopic (e.g., A. lubbocki) or species occurring mainly in natural or seminatural (mostly floodplain) forests (Chaetopleurophora bohemanni, Diplonevra abbreviata, Spiniphora - all three species). Species having saprophagous larvae prevail in our materials are represented conspicuously species associated with breeding in dead snails. A few rare parasitoid species
