What kind was the influence of feeding rations without hay for development of calf's rumen.

In series of tests on calves we're comparing two systems breeding of calf. First group - when goes from rations - colostrums, milk and mixtures for calf and hay. The second system was - colostrums, milk and mixtures for calf. In second system were mixtures applied already in period of colostrums feeding. The contents of energy and nutrients were on both groups the same. The development of rumen was confronted according to the weight of rumen, his capacity determinate according to press up of waters, state of rumen mucous membrane and their papillae and according to total quantity and difference of voluble fatty acids.
