Changes of isoflavonoid levels in pea (Pisum sativum L.) seeds, seedlings and plants influenced by UV-A and g-irradiation
Original language description
In two pea cultivars changes in isoflavonoid levels caused by UV-A and g-irradiation were investigated. Cultivars responded differentially to various dosees of irradiation. The highest levels among isoflavonoids were found for daidzein. During sproting of seeds and developing of plants the isoflavonid content significantly increased. UV-A irradiation caused apparent increase if isoflavonoids at high levels (72 hours) of irradiation, especilly in seedlings and plants.
