Original language description
Laboratory testing of the litter and scraps originating from various parts of the boxes were carried out to study the level of stable infectivity with the third-stage larvae of equine strongyles throughout the year. This study was performen in the boxesat the studfarm Xaverov, in the Czech Republic. Samples were taken in all the boxes from under watering places, troughs, hay (in the front part of the boxes), by exit and in the centre of the boxes as well as the scraps from the troughs, from the walls up to 30, 50 and 100cm. Cyathostome parasites were present in all animals and larvae of Strongylus spp. in faeces of 8,15% animals. The results show that the most contaminated were the centre of the boxes (38,89% of all infective larvae), and areas underwatering places (34,60% of the larvae). Very small migration of infective larvae were obtained on the walls (0,11% of larvae), larvae were also observed in the troughs (0,66% of larvae). The majority of infective larvae was recovered all
