    Altogether 8 species of the family Diastatidae out of the total 11 occurring in the Czech Republic were found in the area (72.7 % of the total Czech fauna of this family). Thus, all of the common species of the family were collected. The rare D. ornata,characteristic for the peat-bogs, D. flavicosta, species of the mixed forests of higher altitudes, and D. cervinala, species of rich fens and wet lowland forests, are not represented.
