Occurrence of invasive weed species of genus Panicum in central Bohemia
Original language description
Weedy species of genus Panicum (P. capillare, P. dichotomiflorum and P. miliaceum) are serious weeds in many countries. These species are found more frequently in Czech Republic now and their future invasion into new areas is predicted. While P. dichotomiflorum is distributed mainly in places of its introduction into the country (railways stations, river ports) and their surroundings, plants of P. capillare were found also in crop stands and P. miliaceum became important arable weed in some areas. Highinfestations were found mainly in maize. Anthropic lag phase is discussed
