The influence of nitrogen fertilization and stand thickness on the creation and reduction of winter rapeseed generative organs (Brassica napus, L.)

  • Original language description

Number of fruitful organs is increasing with the increasing nitrogen dose, but at the same time their reduction is increasing. At the thickness of 60 plants per square meter the nitrogen dose is effective only to the level 75-150 kg N per hectare. The further dose increase is no more effective, for the limited factor is the limitation of assimilation, due to the high plant thickness. At 40 plants per m2, even the dose 250 kg N per hectare was effective. The highest introduction of generative organs perone plant was observed in a thin stand with 10 plants per m2. But the highest number of fruitful organs per m2 was at the thickness of 110 plants per m2, seeds at the thickness of 40 plants per m2. Stands with 10-40 plants per m2 created fruitful organsalso on secondary and tertiary inflorescences. At a higher thickness 100% reduction of generative organs becomes effective. The mutual relationship between the influence of the thickness and nitrogen doses was evident from the results of
