Original language description
Sward characteristics as plant species composition and standing biomass yield of intensive and extensive grazed patches were studied on a pasture located at the SW margin of Jizerske Hory Mts., 420 m a.s.l. Predominant species were Agrostis capillaris and Trifolium repens in both treatments. Standing biomass yield under extensive grazing was higher (936 kg.ha-1 of DM) than intensive grazing (556 kg.ha-1 of DM).
