    Modeling of transport processes in the soil porous system is atool that has been developed for the purpose of providing a comprehensive quantitative description of thebehaviors of the dynamic system. Comparison of observed and numerically simulated watertransport inside a large undisturbed soil column is one of the important procedures for studies of water and chemical movement in soil. Measured data on such a column transport experiment and inverse numerical modeling can be used to obtain soil hydro-physical propeties of soil layers.
