Activation and Maturation of Porcine Oocytes
Original language description
The regulation of maturation and activation of porcine oocytes is not yet fully understood. The aim of the study was to investigate the regulatory processes contributing to pig oocyte maturation in vitro and the mechanisms involved in parthenogenetic activation of pig oocytes. The role of calcium ions, ultrastructural localization of intracellular calcium deposits, the role of protein kinase C and nitric oxide was studied.
