In our studies we tested and evaluated method of computer assisted measurements of the nuclei of erythrocytes in the case of polyploid complex of Silver Prussian carp (Carassius ?gibelio?) for the ploidy recognition. As the reference we took number of chromosomes of each investigated specimens. We found that individuals with approximately 100 chromosomes, conventionally distinguished as diploids, have an area of the erythrocytes nuclei in average 14,03 ? 1,46 μm2. The mean of 150 chromosomes individuals (?triploids?) was 20,71 ? 1,76 μm2. We found this method as fast and efficient purpose for ploidy evaluation
