Sum of effective temperatures and the lower treshold of development were determined under laboratory condotions on spring rape (cv. Maskot) and head cabbage (cv. Zora). Lower treshold of development of nymphs on rape was 7,51 °C and on cabbage 7,04 °C. Sum of effective temperatures was 141,67 °C on rape and 146,18 °C on cabbage
