The effect of abiotic stresses on rate of photosynthesis and formation of dry matter in winter wheat plants
Original language description
The rate of photosynthesis and dry matter was studied in the wheat varieties Estica, Ebi and Mironovská in the greenhouse under controlled conditions. Plants were cultivated in four variants of the trial: control, drought, low pH and combination of drought and soil pH. The photosynthesis and accumulation of dry matter are negatively affected by abiotic stresses. The variety Ebi had lowest the photosynthesis and variety Estica had highest value. The average weight of root and shoot by Mironovská 808 washighest (0.92 g and 5,73 g) and by variety Estica was lowest (0.87 g and 5,58 g).
