The content of Mo, Mn, and Zn in oilseed rape plants and quality of seeds after application of different forms of nitrogen and sulphur fertilizers
Original language description
The aim of published experiments was to determine the effect of N-S fertilizing on the content of selected microelements (Mo, Mn, Zn) in the winter oilseed rape plants and the quality of the seed production. A rate of 100 kg N ? ha-1 applied in nitrochalk (27 % N) and 100 kg N ? ha-1 + 50 kg S ? ha-1 in ammonium nitrate sulphate (26 % N, 13 % S). The precise field experiments were realized on fertile luvisol (Praha ? Uhříněves, experimental station of Czech University of Agriculture in Prague). Treatment with application of ammonium nitrate sulphate showed higher biomass production within whole growing period in contrast to nitrochalk treatment as well yield was higher. The content of Mn and Zn in seed was significantly increased, on the other hand application of this fertilizer significantly decreased Mo content. The effect of N-S fertilization on oil content and glucosinolate concentration was determined in seed and results showed their increase.
