  • Original language description

Seven species of Bolitophilidae have been found in the study area (= 44 % of the total Czech fauna). Two of them are common and widely distributed, the other species are rather rare. Several additional species certainly occur in the study area and couldbe found in their host fungi, e.g. Bolitophila rectangulata Lundström, 1913, which is monophagous in Laetiporus sulhureus. One species found (B. maculipennis) was included in recent regional Red list (ŠEVČÍK 2005) as vulnerable. Four species were recorded from the Bílina and Duchcov environs (MARTINOVSKÝ & BARTÁK 2000), B. cinerea, B. glabrata, B. pseudohybrida and B. tenella. Altogether three species were recorded from the Pálava Biosphere Reserve (MARTINOVSKÝ & ŠEVČÍK 1998), B. cinerea, Bolitophila modesta (Lackschewitz, 1937) and B. pseudohybrida.
