  • Original language description

Altogether eight species have been found or recorded in the study area (= 47.1 % of the total Czech fauna). Most species found are broadly distributed with Holarctic or even broader range (5 species; 62.5 %), a smaller proportion of species have Temperate and North European distribution (2; 25 %), a single species is Palaearctic (12.5 %). Pseudoseps signata is recorded here for the first time from Moravia and the species is included as an endangered species in the recent Red list (BARTÁK 2005). The mostfrequent species in Podyjí NP was P. vulgaris found in eight samples and it is probably the most common species of the family in our country. The localities with the most diverse piophilid species spectrum seem to be Liščí skála and Čížovský rybník (4 species each).
