The old Kladrub horse: Performance test analysis
Original language description
There were analysed 372 Old Kladrub horses. The data were collected within the period of 1995?2004. For the analysis the least squares method and the SAS procedure GLM were used. These fixed factors were analysed: variety, sire lines, stud, sex, and yearof birth, age of horses, interaction variety x stud and sire line x stud. Following traits were included in the analysis: type and sex expression, conformation, which is characterized by: body lines, fundament, general harmony, dressage, general impression; walk, trot, canter, marathon, dressage test, obstacle driving test, first pull, second pull and third pull. The overall means, standard deviations and variation coefficients for the whole breed were estimated as basic parameters. Further the least squares means (LSM) and their standard errors (SE) were estimated for the effects within the factors. The difference between the variety means was significant or highly-significant for two traits: the grey horses had a better motion mechan
