Original language description
This study focused on helminthofauna of Arvicolinae and Murinae rodents from southeastern Moravia (Křižanovská vrchovina) with three study sites designated B, S and L. Twenty-four rodents in total were captured, including 8 Arvicolinae (Microtus arvalis) and 16 Murinae (Apodemus flavicolis). Overall prevalence of infection was 50 % (12/24). Prevalence of infection for Arvicolinae (Microtus arvalis) was 87,5 % (7/8) while prevalence for Murinae (Apodemus flavicollis) was 31,3 % (5/16). Voles (Microtus arvalis) were captured at a location L and infected by Trichuris, Syphacia, and Heligmosomatidae nematodes. Mice (Apodemus flavicolis) caught at the S location were infected exclusively by Syphacia nematodes. However, Apodemus flavicolis, taken from the B location, were infected by a tapeworm.
