A comparison of chemical compositions of cover crops
Original language description
The underseedings of clover (Trifolium pratense L.) and lucerne (Medicago sativa L.) were established in different cover crops at the experimental station CUA Prague - CR in Červený Újezd during the last twenty years. The main qualitative traits were studied - such as PDI, NEL, NEV, SNL by means of laboratory analyses, besides the mean yield elements . The produced quantity of MJ NEL was the highest in the cover crop - wheat + pea of SEMILEAFLESS type (8,7 t/ha) in the underseeding of clover and lucerne. The lowest yield produced by the stands established without a cover crop and into rapeseed. The highest quantity of PDI in clover and lucerne was reached in cereal cover crops. Cover crop, clover, lucerne, PDI, NEL, NEV
