Soil electric conductivity and yield analysis.
Original language description
Electrical conductivity measurement of soil may represent an easy and affordable method of a quick estimation of the soil variability within plots. Electrical conductivity of soil is correlated to some soil properties influencing its fertility and crop yield. The soil conductivity data may also be correlated to the historical yield, data collected from a direct sampling, such as number of species within the plot or variable dose of fertilizer applied. The soil conductivity data may also be used for selection of direct sampling points within the plot. The subject of the research was to analyze the soil conductivity data collected using contact sensor and to determine correlation between electrical conductivity of soil and yield. The data were collectedon experimental plots of the Research Institute of Crop Production in Prague - Ruzyně. This paper also presents results of a simple linear analysis of soil electrical conductivity and yield. In addition to this, results of a more advanced
