POSIBILITY OF YIELD MAPPING BY SUGAR BEET HARVEST
Original language description
A lot of research is done to monitor the yield during harvesting. Combined with Position system, this information can be used to produce yield maps. In this way, site specific field management can be done, aiming for higher local economical and ecological yield efficiencies. Site specific yield measurement and monitoring are fundamental elements of the use of precision agriculture in sugar beet. A continuous mass flow and yield measurement system for self-propelled sugar beet harvester based on belt weighing technology was developed and investigated. The main subject of this article is a possibility of design the flow rate sensor that based on measuring the change of pressure in hydraulic circuit according to mass of sugar beet.
