The influence of cyclic loading on ultimate bending strength of beech solid and laminated wood
Original language description
This work investigates the influence the influence of cyclic loading solid and laminated beech wood at various material thicknesses on ultimate bending strength (ultimate flexural strength) ?p during bending in radial direction. For identification of ultimate bending strength the static bending test with three-point loading was used. Monitored characteristic was detected on testing samples which weren?t cyclic loaded and our results were compared with other results obtained from samples which were cyclic loaded. The results of this work show that influence of cyclic loading on values of ultimate bending strength for solid and laminated wood isn?t significant. Thickness influence is significant factor at both monitored material types; the results show that thickness increasing causes the decreasing values of ultimate bending strength. We think that ultimate bending strength decreasing isn?t caused by material thickness but different material lengths. The rising of material length is mos
