Original language description

The topic deals with the evaluation of socio-economic efficiency of financial funds deposited in selected forestry measures implemented under the Rural Development Programme (RDP) in the Czech Republic (CR). The efficiency is addressed as a relation between inputs and outputs (results) of particular forestry measures in monetary value terms. The results are represented by value changes in the quality and quantity of the services of the given parts of the landscape (ecosystems), expressed in the form of differences in the socio-economic values of the given services before and after the forestry measures implementation. In 2017, the methodology called Social-Economic Evaluation of Selected Environmental Forestry Measures under M08 Measures - Investments in Forest Development and Improvement of Forest Viability in RDP in 2014-2020 for the period 2015-2017 was elaborated, and certified by the Ministry of Agriculture. It is advantageous in its expressing values of forest services in relative, not absolute, terms in comparison to similar services of other parts of landscape, other ecosystems, replaced by the forest ecosystem or improved by forestry measures within the forest ecosystem. The results show that the selected forestry measures within the RDP significantly improve the given services in the landscape within the CR and that in all measures their value benefits are higher than the public funds invested.
