Original language description
Unbalanced landscape of the Mostecko Region has become a subject of the serious interest. The history of mining in the mostecko region dates back to the 19th century. The mining has seriously and negativelly affected the cultural landscape of mostecko Region. The concepts of the Territorial System of Ecological stability may serve a substantial role in the landscape protection. The paper offers a methodology that aims at taking advantage of the use of old Stable Cadastre maps.
