Three-stage on-site constructed wetland for wastewater treatment was evaluated. The systems consisted of saturated vertical-flow filter, free-drain vertical filter and horizontál flow constructed wetland. The results from the first year revealed very good removal of organics, suspended solids and especially nitrogen.
