Analysis of historical retention areas in the emergency zone nuclear power plant
Original language description
The work deals with the evaluation of historical landscape structures in relation to current retention capacity of the landscape in the emergency zone of the Nuclear Power Plant Temelín (13km buffer). Landscape structures were modelled and evaluated using map data from the first half of the 19th century, the Stable Cadastre maps, provided by the National Archives CR. Thematic content of stable land cadastre featured with each parcel its economic use, which can currently be well identified with the applicable categories of land cover used to model the functional elements of the landscape. In addition, these historical data provide high detail (maps at a scale of 1:2 880) and reliable content and spatial accuracy. As the basis of the current state modelwas used a digital water data base DIBAVOD managed by the Water Management Research Institute. Landscape features with high retention such as lakes, wetlands, wet meadows were identified. Basic analysis was made to compare the historical
