    Use of Different Chaff Materials During Electromagnetic Jamming Exercise

    This article describes the current situation in the area of electronic warfare. Aircraft protection can be greatly utilized not only in military but also in civilian applications. Active radar signal jamming methods are costly and therefore, aircraft protection using Chaff jamming increases efficiency, and reduces cost. However Chaff, use of is restricted or if not banned in many countries due to its environmental risks. This article also shows how to use computer simulations for Chaff dispersion and spreading estimation. These simulations are important not only for Chaff efficiency analysis but also for determining its surface, area and points of placement.
