Original language description
Stigmidium rouxianum is a member of the S. psorae group with 1-septate hyaline ascospores, a net of interascal filaments, and an absence of periphysoids. Stigmidium rouxianum was described from Europe where it has been reported growing on Acarospora cervina. In North America it was collected in California on A. obpallens.
