There is a need of mastered tissue maintenance and propagation technologies to be able to achieve good results in somatic embryogenesis of tissue grown up after initial plant explantát induction. We chose embryos from matured seeds of Norway spruce as initial explantats. We induced the tissue on LP medium (von Arnold, Ericsson, 1981) with growth hormones regulators - concentration 2.4-D 2 mg/l, BAP 1 mg/l and NAA 1 mg/l. We tested a rate of tissue growth on LP medium with variable plant phytohormones concentration (BAP, 2.4-D, NAA and kinetin). The best results we achieved with LP medium 2.4-D 2 mg/l, BAP 1 mg/l and kinetin 1 mg/l.
