We investigated sward height distribution and temporal stability of patch types on continuously stocked pasture with a different intensities of grazing. The study site was performed during the vegetation period of 2005 on an experimental pasture site ofthe Research Station for Grasslands Ecosystems, Liberec.To understand the changes of the grazed patches were correlated data of the sward height. The sward height of the patches during one grazing season remains significantly invariable and there is no difference between different grazing intesities
