This thesis considers the proposal of the commercially important tree species of North America and their possible introduction to the Czech Republic. It divides tree species according to the classification system and in the detail describes the most important tree species of North America. It has been made tree forest invertors of area of the interest. For this area is prepared the proposal of native forest associations from boreal, east and west part of North America.
