Original language description
The aim of the paper is the theoretical reflection describing the didactic principles of the adult education. In particular, the didactic principles are interpreted according to M. Knowles. The target group consists of students in a part-time form of study who require a different way of education than students of full-time study. The specifics of the target group in an andragogical view are based on the following premises: socio-economic maturity, workload, self-directed learning. The subject of the paper includes didactic principles, which are presented in the context of the effectiveness of education in the tertiary environment. The paper therefore focuses on the docility (i.e. the ability to learn) of the adult population, the setting of effective conditions for education and refers to Kolbs learning cycle.
